The deadline to apply for the Navy JAG Corps Summer Internship Program is Feb. 1, 2013. Law students interested in applying should visit our website.

The Navy JAG Corps offers summer internships to law school students wishing to gain experience for credit. Due to funding constraints, only unpaid opportunities are currently available. As a Navy JAG Corps volunteer, you’ll be assigned to a legal command/staff and gain experience in traditional Navy JAG Corps practice areas such as military justice (criminal prosecution and defense) and legal assistance (providing general legal advice to Sailors and their families).

Interns work on a wide variety of legal issues depending upon where the internship is conducted. All internships are normally a minimum of eight weeks.  During the application phase, candidates request three Navy JAG Corps office locations where they would like to work.
