Legalman 1st Class Amy Pearson stands during a round of applause after being named the Commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Japan (CNFJ) Regional Sailor of the Year (SOY). Pearson and eight other Sailors, all SOYs from their respective commands in the region, spent a week at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan full of competitive and recreational events.
