NAVAL AIR STATION CORPUS CHRISTI (Aug. 26, 2020) Lt. Alex Biggs, staff Judge Advocate at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, donates blood during an Armed Services Blood Program blood drive at the station�s Catalina Club. The three-day blood drive was held to collect blood donations to support service members worldwide as well as to collect COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma to aid in the fight against COVID-19. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized the use of COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma as an investigational treatment for patients with COVID-19 infections. To assist in the national response to COVID-19, the Military Health System is collecting blood and/or plasma from beneficiaries who have recovered from the illness. (U.S. Navy photo by Dale Davis)
