Jeffery Johnson, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego’s acting commanding officer (left), awards Legalman 2nd Class Roberto Pedroza, a Sailor assigned to NMRTC San Diego (right), with a Shipmate of the Month Award during a ceremony at the hospital Aug. 19. With input from NMRTC San Diego directorates’ chain of command, Shipmate of the Month honors Sailors who perform their duties exceptionally well.
